P2P Tesla sharing platform, Beast Rent, partners up with Omocom for insurance

Uppdaterat: 13 apr.

Beast Rent is an Estonian-founded app-based Tesla rental service and car-sharing platform, allowing users to rent a fully-contactless Tesla within a couple of minutes. Their newest program, Beast Partners, is for individuals to share their Teslas and give the users the opportunity to earn a lucrative passive income from their electric vehicle. Beast Partners platform could perhaps be described as an Airbnb for Teslas, which gives the partners the opportunity to manage how much they’d like to rent out their Tesla, and thus can also control how revenue their vehicle generates.

Regarding insurance during the time of the rental in Finland, Beast has teamed up with a Swedish insurtech company, Omocom.

The proved and seamlessly integrated Omocom insurance includes 24/7 roadside assistance, and first-class claims handling when a damage has occurred. The insurance is automatically included in all finnish Beast rentals.

Apart from both Beast Rent and Omocom being two fully-contactless digital platforms, they both strive to create a greener future by decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. By enabling sharing of existing Tesla electric vehicles with other individuals they minimize congestion, optimize parking space and reduce CO2 emissions.

Fully electric vehicle sharing is one of the best optimizations to reduce congestion, traffic and need for parking, not to mention it’s also great for lowering the wear of roads, removing tailpipe emissions, and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions.
