Keeping products in use

Omocom was founded with a sole purpose, to create incentives to keep existing resources in use. 45 % of today's Greenhouse Gas Emissions come from the productions of the products we consume. If we are gonna have a chance to save the climate, it's not going to be enough just to fly less, or put solar panels on our house, we have to consume less - or differently.

We want our insurance solutions to make more people gain the necessary trust to share existing resources with each other and to dare to buy second-hand items that often actually work just as well as new ones. Omocom is as much about insurance as it is about creating incentives and enabling a more circular economy.

ABOUT US

World domination

Omocom has its roots in the northern parts of Sweden but today has HQ in Stockholm at Birkagatan 1, as well as offices in Piteå, Frankfurt, and Lisbon. Today, more than 25 brilliant people from 12 different nationalities proudly call themselves Omocomers.

We are registered insurance intermediaries and are under the direct supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) and distribute insurance solutions together with our partners and risk carriers, WR Berkley Insurance Nordic and EIR Försäkring. Our products are currently offered throughout the whole Nordic region, as well as in Spain, Portugal, and Germany, but the goal is of course world domination.

Omocom handles everything from the development of new insurance products together with our risk carriers to distribution through our digital platform to customers. We also handle everything related to claims, where we have experienced claims handlers ensuring that the customers are compensated in the best possible way with the greatest possible service.

Our collaboration with the claims settlement company Van Ameyde makes it possible for us to expand throughout Europe offering claims handling in local languages.
